Therefore, if you are planning a journey within or outside of our beautiful country, Indonesia, why not hunt for food while you are there. Check out our six suggestions for restaurants that serve the upscale regional cuisine of each country today.
Pancake On The Rocks, Australia.
Why not sample some delectable and richly flavorful American-inspired dishes at Pancakes on The Rocks while you're on vacation in Australia, especially when you're in Sydney. You may choose to have a family meal for lunch or supper there. It's a terrific location for that. The pancakes are prepared to perfection with lighter and sweeter flavors, fluffy textures, and tantalizing topping, sauce, with accompanying options. Try to get the Nutella, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and roasted hazelnuts-topped buttermilk pancakes, which are the house specialty. Yum! Don’t worry Kepoers who have a sweet tooth, their Devil Delight Pancake is also a popular menu item. It's a delicious stack of black pancakes topped with cheese cream, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, chocolate dressing, and strawberries. Surely the favorites of all!
2. Somboon Seafood, Bangkok, Thailand
Sawasdee ka, Kepoers! Bangkok's Somboon Seafood Restaurant and other classic Thai eateries are never disappointing. You can sample a variety of seafood here, and this restaurant gives off the flavor of Thailand. Curry crab, deep-fried minced prawn, tom yum Goong soup, roasted fresh water prawns with glass noodles, deep-fried grouper, and much more are available on the trademark menu that you may order and enjoy here. The fish are all freshly prepared here as well! Therefore, at Somboon Restaurant, you may savor the true flavor of fish meals. Are Kepoers aware that in Thailand, there are several new Somboon Seafood locations? In the Thailand Michelin Guide 2021, one of them, which is located in Surawong, received a Michelin Plate. Since 1969, Somboon Seafood has provided the best flavors of Thai seafood meals; the fabled but original Fried Curry Crab is by far the best! You must complete it!
3. Warung Babi Guling Pak Malen, Denpasar/Bali, Indonesia
Bali’s traditional and local dishes are well known for their pork-oriented ingredients. So it’s not strange that many restaurants that cooked pork opened in Bali. And they are very crowded at any time of the day. Pork is served in various cooking styles but they always taste excellent and cooked to perfection. Warung Babi Guling Pak Malen, Denpasar/Bali is one of the fantastic culinary destinations for Kepoers to enjoy succulent and mouth watering pork dishes in mixed rice. A portion of Balinese Mixed Rice here is fulfilling yet complete! Each plate serves white rice, spiced pork, pork sausages, pork crackers, pork satay, crispy pork skin, sambal terasi/sambal matah, and a choice of urap vegetables or cassava leaves. Aside from that you also get a small bowl of pork trunk soup. What do you think? You will definitely regret it if you missed this culinary experience!
4. Mount Faber Cable Car Sky Dining, Singapore
By dining in Singapore's renowned cable car, you may experience the pristine and serene feeling of eating in the sky while enjoying endless aerial views of the city. A Singapore food bento set, which includes hainanese chicken rice, tofu salad, Singapore chili crab with mantou bread, fried shrimp dumplings, and rainbow cake, is available for Kepoers to savor in the private cable car. But keep in mind that reservations for Cable Car Sky Dining are only accepted for groups of up to 4 people per cable car. Kepo residents have access to seasonal, regional cuisine aboard the cable car, with a 4-course Japanese meal starting at SGD 385 Nett. 5. Kanidouraku Dotombori Honten, Osaka, Japan
Konnichiwa Kepoers! When talking about Japanese traditional cuisines, it's will be very exciting and endless, including culinary experience while exploring the buzzy Osaka food street. As Japan slowly opens the border for international tourists including Indonesia, try to write down your wishlist of this fancy restaurant in Osaka for those of you planning to go to Japan in the upcoming times! It’s named Kanidouraku Dotombori Honten Restaurant, Osaka-Japan. Try first to order the king crab steamed rice bowl, it’s very comforting and tasty enough to your taste buds, especially if you love seafood. You will order more portions after finishing 1 bowl, as the crab and the basic steamed rice is already a best combination and fulfilling though! Beside that, you can order more dishes in different styles, such as cheesy crab, crab chawanmushi, and many more. All tasted very and super great! After that, close your hearty king crab meal with refreshing matcha ice cream.
6. Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant, Beijing, China
Peking duck has been a very popular dish, founded in China long ago in the year the 1400s. The tender peking duck meat is very tender, moist, and the golden skin is truly the best part. Don’t miss the authentic peking duck culinary experience at Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant when you are in Beijing! The restaurant has been included in the Michelin Culinary Guide of China, as Quanjude was established back in Dynasty of Qing, China in 1864, known well around the world for its Peking Duck. Do Kepoers know that roast/peking duck can be cooked/served in 400 different ways at Quanjude Restaurant? If you haven’t tried Peking duck anywhere else, including this one, try first to order a half portion of peking duck and try to eat it with Chinese tortilla, hoisin sauce ( Chinese traditional sweet soy sauce ), and cucumber julienne. It is also quite similar to eating Korean BBQ wrapped with kimchi, cabbage, and leaves. Quanjude restaurant has opened 8 branches in Beijing, you can even find it in Australia too!
