I know and bet all of us are either bored or just crazy busy right now in this pandemic. One of the few things you can actually do when you're bored at home or just want to relax after a load of work is drawing. Though it is true that drawing can be tricky sometimes but a little bit of practice and you will be as good as Leonardo da Vinci. So, here are the basic steps to draw a rose for your road to da Vinci carrier.
Materials you will need are as simple as a piece of paper in whatever colour, shape and size in your favour and colourful drawing stationeries like coloured marker, pens and pencils.
Step by step :
1. First, just imagine a heart shaped petal.
2. Second, draw the petal rolled up as a vase.
3. And then draw another petal wrapped around the first one.
4. Continue with another petal wrapped around the second one.
5. Draw a heart shape around the entire flower.
6. Add petal edges like seaweed to each side of the heart, as if the petals are bent there.
7. Draw a petal facing outwards in the shape of lips because all you would be able to see is the front facing the edge.
8. Add more petals on each side of the rose.
9. Draw another petal facing out just like on step 7 but minus the upper lip.
10. Draw some more petals going around the entire flower as many as your like and colour it with your favourite colour.
Your rose is done! practice to draw more of these roses or even practice drawing more in general and make da Vinci proud.
