Trying New Sports!

Getting healthy is an all time dream habit. It’s not an easy achievement to have. Most likely because it takes a long time and firm motivation to stay on track. Being healthy means wanting to eat and move right. People usually stay on track with their healthy habits by playing sports. It’s fun. It makes you sweat and happy while taking care of your health.

So what sports should we do? There’s a ton and they also branch out. There are sports that involve water, balls, and even swords! With that being said, here’s our top 4 unique sports that will surely keep Kepoers in company and in shape.

1. Bouldering

Bouldering is a form of climbing usually practiced on small rocks and boulders, on artificial outdoor climbing structures, or on indoor walls. This exercise is a full body burner, both for strength and cardio. You will work your shoulders—especially your delts—and build your bi’s and tri’s; plus, complex climbing movements that use both the arms and legs, and that triggers your core.

2. Takraw

This sport has been around and well known in Southeast Asia. Takraw is a foot volleyball game where players touch as well as handle the ball using only their feet, knee, chest and head. The rules and regulations of the game are very much similar to that of volleyball.

3. Fencing

Fencing! One of the most unique and very fast sports out there. This is the recreational sport of swordplay that can be enjoyed by people of any age, and offers a multitude of benefits. Fencing is both a physical and mental workout, in which fencers learn to hone their strategies against opponents of varying skill levels, and build up physical endurance, agility, and accuracy. So it’s actually quite hard! You may have noticed from watching how much Na Hee Do from Twenty Five Twenty One had to train to get to olympics!

4. Zorbing

This last sport is not your usual sport. It looks funny, it doesn't look like a sport, but it is in fact still one. Zorbing is pretty much rolling down a hill inside a special transparent orb that is generally made out of plastic. These giant inflatable balls are called Zorbs and are of different types.
